Bad chicken from Northpark HEB? I went to the grocery and got some chicken breasts and a few days later I opened them to cook them and they were rancid. Still in date though! I took them back to HEB and got them replaced, I even bought a different brand. I got home and those smelled off too! I talked to my BIL and Cousin about the experience and both of them told me they had the same issue recently. Just curious if others have had this problem and also wanted to make people aware! Definitely disrupted my dinner plans twice!

sfa1tx : I've learned to check dates more. As a Dasher I'm required to and to take pictures. In the 2 and a half years I've been doing it; I'm gettin way more shopping orders now. They say that I'm "pro shopper" not to toot my own horn! Just saying, it made more aware of products and dates for my personal shopping.
Rolnwithmyhomie : Nope! The smell was so rancid both times it was obvious something was wrong. HEB was great about giving us our $ back both times. Talked to a manager the second time since it happened twice in 24 hours and she said she was going to look into it.
