I used AI to build a KDC Dark mode Firefox extension. This site has been punching me in the retinas for over a decade, and this morning I said enough is enough. For people like me that look at screens literally all day, this feature is becoming a necessity on anything I look at, and it makes me upset when it's not offered. So, this morning, I fired up Claude code and asked him if he could build a Firefox extension to fix the CSS on my side. And it said absolutely. About an hour later (we had to go through about 15 iterations) and I have a working Mozilla Firefox extension that turns KDC into night mode. I addressed all the key parts of the site from the Forum, to classified to news. and its working pretty good for now. I made it publicly available on GitHub if you want to try it out github.com/zman-six/ kingwood-dark-mode . I'm going to try to get in the Mozilla extension library also. Here are few screenshots of how it looks. I feel like I should say THIS IS NOT IN ANY WAY OFFICIAL KDC STUFF....its just something I made to entertain myself and improve my own work flows, if you find it useful too, that's cool.

it would be cool if Joe added a Real native Darkmode, but in the meantime we have this.
