LemonEye : First of all not All our sales are due to a death. Sometimes people are transitioning into a retirement or assisted living. Sometimes they are moving In with family. Almost all of our clients are SO relieved for the burden of clearing out the house taken of there shoulders. Many times it's hard for them to know the worth of the items because emotions are involved. At first I felt icky about going in to someone's home and pricing there items but now I view it as a much needed service. The family removed what they want prior to the sale. If you lose a parent you will realize you can't keep everything. The last sale we did the gentleman had no family and all the proceeds of his estate were left to the college he attended. Now I find it very satisfying to help the families.
I mean honestly what's the alternative?

GoldenGirl : Advertising - are estate/garage/yard/garage/moving sales permitted in Kingwood?
Skippy : Depends on the Village for the most part they seem to be more accepting of an "in home" estate sale run by a company that an outdoor garage sale. They HOA wants the house sold rather than it remain empty and not maintained for a long period of time.We also are very respectful of the neighbors, we remove our signs after we close each day.

GoldenGirl : There are a lot of nice things there. I really like the pictures of the birds and the chair/lamp with writing. 🥰 Estate sales are a much needed service. I wish I had done that with my grandparent's estate.

GoldenGirl : Thank you for your service to those who need it. Two years ago we had two situations and were not allowed to have estate sales. Fortunately we were blessed to find a company that moved everything offsite and did online sales. It is a heartbreaking and difficult situation. You are a blessing to many people.

chocolatemonkey : We've got the single probe meater and use it every week. We love it. But that one has four probes, and if it's not a million dollars, I feel like we need that one too lol
