Planned power outage for Thursday, February 5 For Hunter's Ridge II. This was on my door Woodbridge & Garden Lake Dr
In case y'all didn't see my thread. After 3 phone calls, I found out that the document should have read this " Outages ranging from 8 am to 3pm. Lasting 1.5 hours". Mine is still supposed to take place today. I will update as needed.

cbear : Did they start yet where you are at?

cbear : I'm glad you called them and do let us know how it goes. I got a notice on my door today and it says outages will be between 8 and 2 on this Friday. I think I will work in the yard where I won't even know if the power is out.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : Agreed! At least the weather is nice and you can be outside when the power is down. Mine has been re-scheduled for next Tuesday when it is supposed to rain. This may mean it will get bumped again due to "inclement weather" as was stated on the flyer.

cbear : Oh no! You now have this to look forward to again. At least they are trying to make our infrastructure better.
|
|
TEXASGIRLMAMMA : Right and ....not doing these scheduled outage in August! Or should I say "Uggust"! LOL~!
@CatalinaKitKat :
Same here, for Kings Forest. Got my oatmeal cooked and hair dried as fast as I could, just in case!

cbear : Yes, August would not only be bad for us but for the workers too.
I never lost power today, and got a phone call from Centerpoint saying repairs should be done by 3:30. They've given wrong estimates before, though, so I don't know if I should believe them. Has anyone else whose power outage was planned for today had their power stay on?

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : True however, people that work outside do get conditioned for it.
|
|
cbear : They really do!

Sorry for the late response. Our power was shut off on the scheduled date (Feb 5th), but it only lasted about 1.5 to 2 hours. It all went so quickly, I barely even noticed.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : I'm just glad that my turn to "pay my dues" with the planned outage are in the rear view. It only lasted 45 minutes so not bad at all.
