Kroger at Valley Ranch is an island of Calm! They have bananas.

Wiseowl : I don't need to see anyone doing anything. All I need to see is stocked shelves. Working folks until every customer is satisfied is ludacris. The workers deserve to go home and prepare for what they need, too. I have faith, no matter the circumstance, HEB will make sure their trucks get supplies to their stores that run on gigantic industrial generators.

Yeah typically you can always count on HEB. This is my experience anyway.

It's kind of amazing Kroger stays in business at all. I don't know that them being fully stocked right now is a good indicator of their long term viability around here.

Well, they are consistently ranked as one of the most viable grocery chains, and their 2024 sales exceeded $150 Billion. So, they are doing something right. I like HEB, but I don't find everything I need there, and I do like the gas points I get at Kroger; just got 40 cents a gallon off a tank of gas. To each his own, but it takes both chains for me to find all I usually stock and enjoy.

My HEB was stocked! They even have a charging station set up near the front, so they are ready!

My son's logistics company was Very busy this week; more than he usually is, and that is a lot, as he does loads of all sizes. His grocery supply loads kept him up til 3am this morning, but they are done until later on Monday, weather permitting, and those are normally scheduled loads.
