Forget It

SMH. C'mon peeps. I lived there for 21 years and it took me 2 months to figure out that I needed to prep and stay prepped for whatever Mother Nature had to throw at me.
I still stay prepped. If something happened here ( which is unlikely unless it's sun 2" from the ground) I'd have enough food for at least a month. We'd probably run out of fresh fruit( except citrus) and veggies first.
I don't miss the weather or the people who don't keep more than a days worth of food

I had it as a young child. I remember that bite of horrible food to this day. Never putting that in my mouth again.

The offering of a candy bar made me remember a regular customers well. I worked at a small camera store in the mall during college. Mrs. H knew everyone's preference of soda and would bring one to those working when she was picking up her pictures. You know she always got to cut in line to pay!

muffy: I have an Ohana friend who makes a Spam fried rice that is fabulous; with a touch of pineapple and a little bit of asian spices in it ,it is so good!

Smallmart on NP is usually where I shop for storm prep and it is never busy but....Shhhh...don't tell the others!
