I will happily buy a board/set and start an in-person group ... I would love to host a "beginner" group.

maditorrent : There is a boutique up in Bullard/Flint, Texas that sells the Mahjong tiles, mats, and whatever accessories and they are not cheap. They hired someone to do classes and I guess it's a big thing to play now. I've only played on the computer and by the prices of things, that will probably be the only way I play. lol. Lots of good suggestions from others on here, though. I hope you find a good group.
