That land should be given to KSA or the city. It's swamp. Floods all the time. Keep it as parkland or a preserve.

I live across from the proposed site of the hotels and condo/villas. It would be a nightmare. The flooding that would take place and holy traffic! It's already bad enough trying to get home with people parking in the road to use the park. How add "tourist" or whatever they would be to the mix that don't know the area and it's a doozie of a cluster.

I'm not sure what it would actually do for property values but I can't see it doing anything good. Who would want to live next to 2 large hotels?

Romerica is seeking approval this week to build two hotels totaling more than 500,000 SF and more than a hundred villas in/around the swamps north of Barrington. But the Planning Commission won't release their drainage study. See what we know so far and how to protest. reduceflooding.com/2 026/01/19/city-to-co nsider-approval-of-d evelopment-in-s

BobRehak : That's going to cause major issues here in Trailwood. We already flood bad enough!
