jrjtex : she's endorsing Plummer in her own special way. Plummer faces an uphill battle vs Parker in the Dem primary, but whoever survives will be a big betting favorite in November. The Harris County Republicans appear to be in disarray and leaderless at the moment and unable to field a serious candidate for the County CEO seat that Lina had basically laid in the their laps with her job performance. no orange as requested.

Ruger5 : I was just joking with the OP. One of his mantras is people on here are more interested in national than local politics.

asasolid2r : I would recommend Dave Martin, a real money man and he knows our area. Also Kevin Brady a former federal rep from this district before the map changed. In addition, Jack fields from Humble has a long history with this area and has significant business experience. If you don't know, Jack Fields is the reason we have the bridge to Atascocita. If Paul Sarvadi , founder of Insperity, was interested he has the money to remain independent and is a life long resident of the Harris county and Montgomery county areas. We need somebody who knows how to sell the county bonds and who the bond markets respect. We lost that when we lost Ed Emmet.

PanAmBlue : all good candidates, but the Harris County demographics are shifting in a different direction for better or worse.
