Tomball Christmas German Market

I don't know how it is today but, back then it was so much fun. My German was better then, today not so good. Most Germans can speak some English as it is taught in school. My dad's people came from the black forest area in the late 1800's. Heidelberg Germany is so nice for Christmas time too.

I bet it is still beautiful!! My great- grandfather was born in Germany but not sure where. We did Ancestry.com years ago but need to try it again.

We should have gone yesterday...too cold today and DH was grumpy.

We did not see any German stuff lol. No German dancers or people dressed up. But it was still fun, but very cold. Some music, lots of vendors and lots of food, saw one stilt walker. I took a few pics that I will add, but not too many. I was too cold to take my gloves off. I saw a BEAUTIFUL dog I wanted to take home with me. Not sure of the breed. Someone else was already taking pics of him and asking the owner about him and DH was getting about a mile ahead of me.
