Routine colonoscopy IN KINGWOOD?

I'm getting mine done Friday with Dr. hamat. He's been good.

Joe : I'd also avoid Dr. Krishnamurthy Shivshanker. The procedure went fine but his office staff is horrible. I had my colonoscopy in June and I still don't have the results.

olemiss1968 : I received pics and even had a tattoo done in one area. Not sure why received but Atleast have proof I have a tattoo! Lol

Dr Mark Edgecomb. He does them in the offices behind Kingwood Hospital.

I highly recommend Dr. Chung. He is behind KW hospital and they have their own colonoscopy center next to his office. He also will do colonoscopy and endoscopy at the same time.

Dr Khan Le . His office is in KW and the procedure is done in KW

jwardl : We found Dr Georg Elias and he is by himself. His office is over by Texas Roadhouse/Luby's. He is such a neat, humble guy! He has a great staff and you actually get someone on the phone, more than likely Stephanie. You have to go see him first and then you get scheduled for the colonoscopy. There are a couple of choices of where to have it done. BrendaT and I both decided to have Dr Elias do the procedure at Memorial Hermann's Endoscopy Center. As much as they are "routine", God forbid anything would go wrong, we would know that we are connected with a hospital and could get the care needed for anything out of the ordinary. We are glad we did it at MH and the staff and people there were amazing and it ran like clockwork. The anesthesiologist was a hoot! That is two votes for Dr Elias!!

My husbands been seeing Dr Mark Edgecomb for some other matters, but will use for colonoscopy when the time comes. We are very happy with him. His office staff is also very good.
