We picked up Pecan and Pumpkin from HEB. The Boy loves the HEB Gourmet pies over just about anything else, anywhere, so that's where we go.

I wouldn't unless it was part of a tradition like donnatella mentioned. It's not for us so HEB for a couple to take to friends.

I bought a peach and a caramel apple from HEB for the non-Keto people. May have a sliver just to taste but we're making Keto pumpkin mousse and a Keto brownie crust chocolate cheesecake pie.
HEB only had a couple berry pies left around 4 yesterday.

I've never done it, and probably wouldn't do that either. I understand it's probably a big tradition for many people, and I'm happy for them if it makes them happy. I'm also happy to see this business making some good money for the holidays, and hopefully being successful enough to be able to continue serving the community.

No way no pie is worth standing in line the night before. But that being said I don't really care that much for pie.

I've always liked House of Pies but wouldn't go into Houston for it.

Nope, I make my own pumpkin pie every year and it's darn good, if I do say so myself! No skimping on good ingredients in this house.

HOP not as good as they used to be. Quality diminished as of late and not worth the long wait. Back in the day Dee Dee's pies on Gulf Bank had the most delicious pies until the place went up in flames years ago... I'll settle for HEB pies and cakes which aren't bad at all and close by the casa.
