I'm not sure how to look it up, but I wonder how many accidents/ wrecks have happened at that intersection due to "distraction". I still feel it is unnecessary and petty, and it's ok to disagree.

If someone wants to spend their own money to decorate the street, applies for a permit to do so, and that permit is approved, fine. Otherwise, whatever the painting is, is a waste of money. Repair every pothole in the city first, at least.

I would love the 10 commandments displayed at schools personally but I know schools are governmental agencies and to do that would create a huge can of worms.This is a blanket of neutrality imo. It's common sense, not an attack on LGBT. They aren't being singled out. They decided to mark on public streets.

And the ONLY fair thing is to treat everyone the same. No to everyone. No special pet projects. As for the timing, it's irrelevant at this point. I'm not a huge fan of politicians in general but what are we EVER going to do about the stuff they do??
