Cl1974 : I know they are really popular here, but I don't care for them either. Everybody's tastes are different. I've tried Hin's Garden and they were pretty good.

Hunan Express Has anyone eaten here before? I got takeout from there today for the first time and I was completely and utterly disappointed and I'm throwing out most of the food.
Cl1974 : Though they are the same family running them..front and back are very different. I believe the son runs the back one.

golfshot : Went to the "Grand opening" where the first 20 customers got a $20 gc. Waited 2 hours.....for chicken fried rice! Truth! Got my card though. Waited a month for them to "get their act together" before returning to use my gc. Guess what? ! They wouldn't accept it! Something to do with not having the machine to run it. I was told to go to the front one. Wow.
Cl1974 : Update. We picked up from Hunan Garden on 59 today. I was concerned after reading this thread but I am happy to report it was the usual delicious. Hunan Garden and Hunan Express apparently are quite different.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : I gave it to my DD and her then boyfriend and they used it.
Cl1974: I tried Huhan Express a couple of times and found the quality of their food is not as good as their parent store on 59, which used to be in Town Center near Walgreens. Now I call the 59 location and place an order for delivery. The online menu app is awful, so I talk to them in person. We have never been disappointed!
