villalady : Kingwood does not have a municipal court. You will have to go downtown to City of Houston.
GiggleMugs : call before you go. Sometimes a court clerk can do things without the actual judge getting involved.
villalady : A friend forgot to hang her placard when she parked at HEB. She got the ticket dismissed at the Municipal Court Annex in the HPD substation building. I don't know any more details.
Unpaid Volunteer KW citizens, certified to issue ADA Handicap Parking violation citations. We just received a life lesson in an unpleasant way. Has anyone had an experience with what they feel to be an unjustified $500 citation for parking illegally in a Handicap Parking space? What was your experience?
villalady : If you park in a handicap spot, you should be cited. Is this your first offence? If so, maybe they will go easy on you.
villalady : I think people with handicapped tags should be automatically issued the hall monitor authority - and mostly them.

luannski : You walk into the substation building and it's immediately on your left. Sort of the lobby of the police station.
GiggleMugs : I have been to the KW location. Quick and easy.
I got a ticket in that crazy school zone between Ben Branch Elementary and the Montessori school which is a 1 block between with 2 different zones. I got a ticket for the Montessori one which I thought it was one big school zone since it was such a short distance. After I figured why I got the ticket the freaking Montessori school was out for the week. If they are going to have 2 school zone time with in a block there should be a big flashing light letting you know. Rant over
villalady : First, I am sorry your husband is handicapped. There is a huge difference in handicapped and wheelchair accessibility. My late BIL who was mid 80s, an amputee, and wheelchair dependent struggled with parking options. Being unable to access your vehicle because the allocated space has been violated is beyond stressful on many levels for someone who lives with challenges.
