Just saw two wolves

Almost all of the master-planned communities in this area are seeing coyotes and reporting to social media. Just like the alligators thread, we all live in their habitat and all part of the charm about the "living forest."

They mostly are but I've seen them during the day hers. I carry one of my trekking poles with me. They usually avoid humans

Wolves are extinct in Texas (4-legged variety anyway).I thought coyotes to be nocturnal until we moved to the country. They're extremely active at night and in early morning, But they pop up by the creek and in heavy timber most anytime. They're never threatening. Seem more curious than anything and appear unafraid unless you make a real effort to frighten them.

Txbutterfly : They don't attack people, they are most active at night, and Whiskey would likely scare them off.

You saw coyotes. As noted earlier there are no wolves in Texas. The difference in size between coyotes and wolves is astounding.

I've seen a couple of coy wolves off 242 before it built up.
Much bigger than coyotes.
Goofy looking.

Okay now I've got this running thru my head. Anyone remember this one? Aawoooooo!

Txbutterfly : Coydogs are very common in houston with our stray population so we end up with bigger ones that dont have the same people phobias
