How much is the retail rent in KW for a space say the size of a Subway ?

Currently the average $/sq.ft in our area is approximately $45.00. That is for "base" rent. All in rent, roughly $61.00 $/sqft. I would say that Subway is roughly 1800 sqft

Years ago I tried to rent a small store. They wanted $5000 for a 1500 Sq foot place. Needing half the space they would not split, I could not sublease, and the lease was 3 - 5 years. Then add a million for insurance on the building, your liability in case someone got hurt, theft. Then there is utilities and commercial utilities are high. Then your phones, point of sales machines and service. Plus inventory. Not for a minute did I bite. I quit, accepting I'll never have a small shop.

So sad. The business was always closed for many months.
