Chrysanthemum : Agree about meeting but someone is definitely driving real slow in our neighborhood in a white SUV. Seen it too many times in the last few weeks as have others.

peppermintstick : I have said this before on this forum, I was so surprised how fellow Sand Creek residents drive around and call the management company and report peoples yards or other issues. The HOA is not allowed to tell the residents if another person is complaining (state law). And by state law once it is reported it has to be looked at. People would complain if a back yard neighbor had lights on in their home during the night claiming it was annoyed them while sleeping.
Ticagro : Agree. I'm guessing we got new board members. Lived here awhile and these are the first I've gotten in Sand Creek. My neighbor across the street received one for grass. It's where they put their Beryl pile. That area doesn't get much sun. Their yard guy put grass but it's already dying.
peppermintstick : Most homeowners don't understand how an HOA operates. It is not the HOA board members who do the drive arounds in the communities, but rather the management company. Sand Creek's board president is Dee Price. She is also the KSA (Kingwood Service Association) board president. Sand Creek's management company in KAM (Kingwood Association Management) run and owned by Ethel McCormick.

A vehicle that is in our cul de sac multiple times in a short time span. A house was for sale but sold and the realtor had a navy suv not white.

peppermintstick : IDK. I don't live in Sand Creek. They may have gotten a different person to do the drive arounds.

Chrysanthemum : I can completely agree with this. The neighbors I have on my little cul de sac here are all awesome. However, the guy behind me on the next street has a curious understanding of the word neighbor. Shortly after we moved in, he called the police on us because we had a small gathering of 55 or so year old adults in the yard. On a Saturday night. At 9PM. On 4th of July weekend. You can't make this up. Shortly after that I installed a large air conditioner in the rear wall of my garage. The HOA covenants specifically mention that you can do this in a garage, as long as the unit can't be seen from the street. None of my neighbors can see it except for him. I planted bushes to completely block it from his view. It's a pretty quiet A/C unit, and I only run it a few times a year when I'm working out there in the heat. I received a complaint from the HOA about the A/C unit about a month after I put it in. Guess who? Only one neighbor could possibly see it. You got it, Mr. Saturday night. Again.
He has also complained to my very nice neighbors next to me because he could see a tiny bit of a ladder they had stored behind their garage protruding over the top of the 4 foot length of fence that they share on overlap of yards. Keep in mind that 4 feet of fence is behind Mr. Saturday nights garage. He can only see it when he walks behind his garage.
I do whatever I can to keep the peace with this guy. I make as little noise as possible. When I have company I shut everything down early. I just don't need this grief. At this stage of life I just want to live peacefully.
