Do I need an electrician?

When I lived in Kingwood the power glitched off for no reason sometimes. No rain or wind. It was strange to me. I don't miss that but our power glitched a couple times a few days ago for no reason but came back on..? We're keeping everything changed and trying to be conservative with our usage. Otherwise, our electric bill will be insane. I recommend you getting an electrician to have an inspection just in case. It never hurts to get answers and quotes.

pay attention to what else is happening at the same time, could be every time that the A/C kicks on is when your"flicker" happens? if so call your A/C guy, could be a weak capacitor, or you may need a 'start assist kit' added to your system.

To answer some questions, Flickering happens when AC is off and happens to all lights on different circuits .
Doesn't have to be a storm. I'm gonna call an electrician this week just to be safe.

MrNachos : Years ago our lights started fluctuating like that. We called out an electrician and our breaker box had to be replaced. It was so odd cause it was not enough to knock out the internet. Anyway, We had the breaker box replaced and haven't had that problem again.
