In forty-one years in the same house our power has never been out as much as in the last two years! Centerpoint notices have repeatedly stated equipment failures, how much more needs to be replaced?

I was just thinking the same when I saw the Centerpoint "repairs are complete" notification. All I can think is that someone ran the numbers and decided that continual "repair" is still cheaper than replacement.

Fred Flickinger's office might have an updated list of all the repairs/upgrades around here and what has and will continue to be done. I know they did a lot of work south of Woodland Hills where the major damage was last year and affected Trailwood and we were one of the last ones on.Fred's office may know if they may be another update meeting in the area coming up! I know from some lineman that I know if that if there is something that trips the wire, it surges through and that is usually when you get the first click, then it will do it again and the 3rd time it will shut down the system. They said it happens a lot with squirrels. Usually it will take the 1st time to get them and not too often will a squirrel shut down the system but it can mess with it for sure!Hmmm, now you have me on a mission...lol! Might have to call CP and get a map of all the upgrade they have done. I am sure there is one out there.

My daughter lives in eagle springs and the power almost never goes out.

That was a long 14 days having to buy gasoline and oil which wasn't readily available initially.

I've lived all over the country in my life. Never experienced infrastructure as crappy as Texas. The roads, the grid, the water from the tap. Complete garbage.
