Use to love taking the kids to Jesse Jones park 20yrs ago. Anyone know how that's doing since I never hear about it anymore. It is at the end of Kenswick subdivision.

It's been a few years (less than 10) since we've been there, but I believe they still hold events there during the summer. We also enjoyed their nature center, trails and parks.

It just seemed far-fetched to say Kenswick is in the mall's area.

Sisyphus : The Deerbrook area is less than 5 miles from IAH, so not that far-fetched.

elguapo : That neighborhood is such a crime magnet...I feel bad for decent people who live there.

Joe : I had a friend who lived in Foxwood 20 years ago. He got out of there as fast as he could. That whole area is bad. I even hate to drive down 1960 past there.

I lived in Kenswick before moving to Kingwood over 20 years ago,... I saw the writing on the wall even back then....
