Officer pulls over car. Frisks the kid and thinks he feels a gun. Kid realizes it and runs, turns to officer and reaches for gun. Officer shoots the kid. A gun is subsequently found on the scene. Seems easy to understand, I'm not seeing where the confusion is. Moral of the story: Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Kaa054 : abc13.com/post/17-ye ar-old-injured-shoot ing-involving-troope r-humble-area-h "HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A Texas DPS trooper shot a 17-year-old who was on his way to the dentist with his mom driving following a traffic stop in the Atascocita area Friday. It happened on Will Clayton Parkway westbound at Village Tower Drive at about 11 a.m. Family members say they believe the trooper pulled over the mother and son because the tint on her car windows was too dark."
1836 : I have to wonder what the 17 yr old was taking a gun to the dentist's office for. I wonder if he was going to kill his dentist or hygienist.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : Why is a 17 yr. old packing a gun in the first place. Not even old enough to be carrying in the first place.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : Easy…let's focus on the kid had a gun and shouldn't have. You are allowed to carry in your vehicle and in establishments if you're following the posted requirements.

AnnaToeMe : Bottom line he is not old enough to carry. Minimum age in Texas is 21 yrs.
