Not being all about a lawsuit, but More about care and concern for your child. If they did not get out to check on your son, the driver Could be charged with a misdemeanor; failure to stop and render aid. I am SO glad your son is okay, and not speaking from a law enforcement stance, but a HUMAN one, what kind of person Knows they hit a person on a bike, and does Not check on them? :0
I can answer my own question here, so it is actually a Moot one, but Should be considered!

Work2PayBills4u : I bet she wasn't. I know that intersection. My daughter, myself and my husband were all in my car several months ago at that same spot. Traffic is one way and only approaching on the left of the driver. You are looking left to get a space in coming traffic to cross to the median. Therebisba sidewalk there where you stop. NONE of us ever looked right, there's no traffic coming that way but there was a kid on his bike blowing by in front of my car. Luckily my car has sensors and immediately enabled the brake or she would have hit him. Please please please tell your kids to never cross in front of any car without making eye contact with the driver.

Unbelievable that she did not stop to check on him after all she hit him! Some people are totally heartless!
