buffaloglenn : I have 5 mature pine trees in my backyard and not a one fell over. Just a couple broken branches from one. In fact, a whole canopy oak toppled over onto my neighbor's roof - the roots were shallow. Still trimming would at least help some. Less wind resistance?

JFC, why is city services not keeping trees trimmed near power lines?? I thought that's what our expensive AF property taxes went towards 😱ðŸ˜

@RedROW : *puts on glasses* Oh, well... the trees still need to be trimmed! And that wooden pole looks ancient. Aren't they supposed to be replaced every 30 years or so?
StormChaser : "Trailwood Village Community Association (TVCA), a non-profit Texas corporation. Trailwood Village was founded in 1971 and was the 1st village in Kingwood. The TVCA provides services to residents of the Trailwood subdivision in Kingwood, Texas that are not otherwise provided by any Federal, State, County, or City governmental organizations." I think I just answered my own question. Trailwood thinks it's too good for outside services 🤣
