FYI -- Trail Association Fee

Nope.. you only pay if you live along the trails. I used to live in Bear Branch. I paid for trail dues separately from HOA. A friend of ours lived a block away with no trails. And they never paid.
I now live in Mills Branch and not along a trail. I dont pay. Its a scam. They dont take care of the trails anyway

I don't live along a trail either and got one. Was a surprise-to-me bill! I'd have assumed that this was covered by HOA fees.

excuse an old man's ignorance...assuming that the trails are different from greenbelts? What constitutes a trail that people get charged extra for?

I talked to them and they told me they were adjusting the bill and late sending it out. We have longer to pay because they were late. My bill increased $30.00.
This was only Green tree trails.
I received Sand creek bill on time.

I was doing bills today and looked for my Greentree trails fee and cannot find my bill. Can anyone send me a phone or email to contact them? Thanks, Janis

KTownTexican : You are mistaken. Many villages have trails managed by a separate trail association, usually an adjoining village. Since Mills Branch maintains their own trails the bill for HOA dues INCLUDES trail fees, so there isn't a separate bill. I've lived in 3 houses in Kingwood in the past 40+ years. None of my homes were trail adjacent and I have always paid trail fees.

GoldenGal : called it in when I received it and was told THEY made an error on the due date. I already paid it once I received it.

I can't help but believe we are ALL going to get billed for damages along the trails.
