Kittle : It was like a annoying loud buzz thing. Its cool.Yes we were there and yes most of these crimes happen along 59 corridor and when kids are out of school.

Thank you for posting this. I had no idea about these meetings. Besides the great and relevant information, they had great freebies. Including the personal alarms you mentioned plus gun safes that you can safely attach to and lock in your cars to store your handgun if you go to a place that doesn't allow firearms. Plus other goodies.

Kittle : We weren't able to go this time as we were exposed to Covid the night before and didn't want to take a chance. I do know that they pass out a handout showing what crimes occurred and in what village for the past month. They email it too in case you can't get there.They have had the gun safes each month for a while now. They are very nice, heavy metal safes and they come with a solid gun lock too. HPD is using the safes program to try to lower the rate of guns stolen from cars. buffaloglenn: Thank you for the tips!
