Cilantro's (Pablo's Cantina). We decided to try Cilantro's today and met the new owner, Rick, who was impressive . FYI - Their new sign is in the approval process which requires approval by four agencies. 1. The restaurant was clean. Super important. 2. Staff was friendly and helpful. 3. Price was reasonable. Their lunch menu is effective on weekends as well which is a plus. Our two lunches - $23. 4. The food was very good. We had the build your own meal with a crispy taco, two beef enchiladas, rice, and beans and the Mexican taco lunch consisting of Mexican tacos, rice, and beans. Chips and salsa of course. 5. Their menu is being revised and expanded to include other popular items in addition to the traditional Mexican restaurant items. I like supporting local businesses and hope the new owners are a huge success.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : I was very surprised at the lunch prices. They will likely go up soon.
No I haven't been to Loco Cantina. I keep forgetting about them. Lunches for $9 is fantastic. Hopefully soon….

Thank you! Those are very good prices and the menu looks appealing. We will be checking it out as soon as our crazy schedule allows.

I was told the former manager of Cilantro's Pablo bought it. I guess he is business partners with the man you met. They are all so nice there. We love our waitress Rosa!

Yes, I heard many negative stories of the former management -- both from customers and employees. The food, however, was decent the one time I came. Here's to hoping for a better ongoing experience for staff and customers!
