I believe the HOA board members make the decisions. The residents/public are allotted 3 minutes speaking time.

33 year Trailwood resident here and have always liked the M-TH days because heavy pickup/recycle on Mondays has always been handy after a weekend of yardwork. Just drag it out Sunday PM and it's gone a few hours later. Yes, we miss a few holiday Mondays, but it is little more than a slight inconvenience, no big deal with a little planning.
Seems to be a consensus here that Tue/Friday is better, don't really agree, but could live with it.
Wed/Sat makes no sense to me and if there is a way to either keep it 'as is', or change to Tue/Fri I'm all for it.
I had assumed Best Trash had initiated this change, but if it was the HOA, then I would be happy to support a petition, just don't know how that would work.
I will stay tuned.

Saturday trash pick up should be interesting on the streets around the pool during swim meet season.

Leave it M/Th or change to Tu/Fr, but somebody please kill the W/Sat plan.

We were Monday/Thursday which I liked as trash pick up the first day following the weekend was good. Holidays were usually only a one day delay. Best changed us to Wednesday/Saturday which is not my first choice, but ok. I am just happy they come early and take everything we put out. I would hate COH once weekly with crazy restrictions.

Y'all are cracking me up going on and on about what days they pick up your trash. You get trash pick up two days a week… be grateful. ☺️

Why not have the City of Houston pick up the trash? You're paying taxes for it already? I don't understand, I thought yall preferred the private garbage men because they were better, but it sounds like yall are having issues with them. I have no complaints after 7 years of Houston trash in Elm Grove.
