Atascocita cop shot in hand by a teen suspect. Neighbors were calling because teens were breaking into the cars and someone saw one of them with a gun. Cop went to talk to the three suspects and one shot him in the hand. He fired back and shot one of them . The teen is in the hospital the other two got away.

sweetie: I wonder if the gun that kid used belongs to his parents. Recently, parents were found negligent ( or worse ) by not securing their firearm, thereby making it accessible to their homicidal son.

Or, someone who has nothing to do will partake in something that will get him into trouble.
Gammyof2 : I remember that. I thought it was great. Too bad some people thought it was too cruel to let these kids see what prison life was really like. But also that isn't the same anymore. Some are almost country clubs. My daughter was a tough teenager to raise. Very rebellious. Got her to take a police science class in high school and then a job at Disneyland in college. At that time it was a wholesome environment to work in. She turned out to be the sweetest, kindest person that I could not be more proud of.
