cbear : I agree - the plastic is silly. But, as long as your dog hasn't left a Saint Bernard-sized steaming pile in the middle of the greenbelt, no problem. Dog owners should at least make sure the dump isn't on the greenbelt.
buffaloglenn : Right? I have PTSD from some of the dumps I've hit on my bike. Gotta keep your head on a swivel on the greenbelts these days
JandS89 : Here is my personal take on poo bags. I think it contributes to landfills. Poo is biodegradeable and is fertilizer. Plastic bags are not. Never have I ever picked up my dog's poop on a walk. IMO.

cbear : You leave your dog's **** on the actual greenbelts for others to walk in? I am not talking about in the bushes.....I am referencing the actual asphalt? You do that?
Y'all know they DO make biodegradable poo bags, right?
J2911 : I have not had a dog in at least 5 years but...she never pooped on the pavement. She knew to do in the grass or bushes. NEVER on the pavement.

My cats go in a box.😠I have dog sat for friends and neighbors before and i definitely picked it up. If I'm in charge of the dog, their waste is my responsibility. I wouldn't let me kid go to someone's house & not flush.

Well nothing is going to change, just get worse, throw it on the ground, throw it out the window. I was at Dollar Tree/Aldi parking lot; these people most likely not residents of the area, they all opened their doors, threw all the trash on the ground, and drove away, laughing.

Section 6.24 Dog and Cat Feces
Houston requires any person in control of a dog or cat to promptly remove and dispose of feces that are left by the animal. Not having materials to remove feces is not a valid excuse under the law. This law does not apply to feces left in the owner's own yard.Apr 24, 2018
