Electric bills Ugh. I got mine today. The billing cycle ended over a week ago and my bill was still $285.00 for a 2800 Sq ft house. 😬 AND we have decent rate! Almost afraid to open it next month!
OK hold on to your seat. $59.85 for a 3,500 one sty sq ft house. Temp set at 75. It's a long story. Would be that low going forward.
keep ac's set at 82 down, 84 up
Hopefully we get some rain this next week to help with this heat.

Ruger5 : 82? I don't think I could stand 82 degrees. I just turned my thermostat up to 75 from 74. I may even turn it up to 77-78. Hopefully we get some rain this next week to help with this heat.

sweetie : My house is the same size and I have windows across the back as well, and my bill is less than a third of that. No pool, though. Something sounds wrong.

StormChaser : Ours was 355 for 5,056 sq feet. yall know we keep ac's set at 82 down, 84 up. Couldn't do it with dehumidifier! Solar screens are a HUGE factor as well.

WTF : How is yours so low? What's your temp set at?
Ruger5 : Don't solar screens make it kind of dark?
