>> Wow, I can't believe there are so many people on here that don't see the problem with this. Smh...And no I didn't want to go up to him because I'm with my 7 yr. old son. I didn't know if he would be dangerous (if he woke up) and I didn't want to expose my son to that. I did alert a business to call....I'm not a Karen...that is just stupid. I'm a concerned citizen. I also didn't know that I can't delete messages....

>> eighteen: are you serious? Expose my child to someone who may be violent. You're crazy. My child is 7. Who would you expose your child to?

>> CocoBagogo1 : I can understand your concern for your child having to see homeless people. But, you need to realize it is actually good for your child to see this. It helps them to learn they do not want to ever be that way. It helps them to learn empathy for others. You can make this a very good teaching moment for your child. When your child is a little older it would be go to have them volunteer handing out Thanks Giving supplies to people at Northeast Mission or something like that. Kids do not automatically know they have it better than others. They need to see they have it better. Otherwise, they might end up being whiny adults that think they had it so bad as a child when in all reality they never had to do anything in their lives and they had everything.

I probably would have asked him if he was ok and then given him a few bucks to get some breakfast, But Im a nice and compassionate dude.
Just because you live in an affluent neighborhood it doesn't make you better than these people. You cant just sweep the under the rug. Poverty exists weather you like it or not, Its part of capitalism.

>> CocoBagogo1 : I think you lost a majority of the crowd when the only thing that kept you from taking a pic of a -possibly- dead person was your young child. Thank God he was with you.
