Anyone celebrating Dia de los Muertos?
We went to Xalisco today and there was supposed to be Aztec dancers, but they're tonight. Oh well, was still nice. Hubby is not a skeleton or skull face fan, but no one was dressed up. Just a parade on TV. We also went to a Woodlands Waterway event last night. Quite a few dressed up.

I'm celebrating by taking my Halloween decorations down! I usually wait until after, but with the weather moving in,I feel like I need a head start.
Hubs kind of agrees. But I think it is cool to come to terms with the fact that we all turn into into skulls and skeletons at some point
... why not have fun and share stories and honor loved ones past.
I love these kind of traditions. Very heartfelt.❤️
I think the remembrance is cool but all the graveyard stuff, just not part of who someone truly was…you know? Their remains arent who they were.
Where I'm from, the family's graves are washed and the priest goes to bless them and offer a prayer with the family. Tears are shed and stories told.
We had had it too, we shared it as an appetizer. It was great!! It was our first visit there and for our entrees I had Tacos de Colifor and hubs had ribeye tacos. We both loved our entrees. They asked if we were celebrating anything and it is our anniversary, so they served us a complimentary red velvet tres leches cake, which was also delish.
Sorry. it's irrelevant. The place is predominantly Catholic from Spain.
True. You are right. They hang pics of them on the altar though.
