A quick talk with the election judge, some checking on their part, and I was able to vote in every race. I also got to go to the front of the line after approval! There were others who were not able to because the entire registration was cancelled. The ones I talked to had the same thing in common: we changed our address at the DPS. My voter registration is suspended! I noticed last week. I have been at my new address for more than 2 years. It makes zero sense. I was able to go online and verify my address and info, but I'm not sure if it will go through by election day. For a change of address, I think it's 30 days, but I didn't change anything. I am reading that I can still vote, but just at the state level. I can't decide if I should just vote early and just do that as I can vote anywhere, or wait to see if my status changes.

shouldn't that be .gov? harriscountytx.gov is the address of the HC Voter's Association. You can call for answers: 713-755-6965

I'm not in Harris Co. I am in Montgomery. They didn't have my registration at all. It is only on the Texas website. I am definitely looking on an official website.
MoCo contact is 936-539-7843. hope they can help! The MoCo League of Women Voters have a help line, too: 866-687-8683

I would rather just vote state and know it will count than risk it. I just read that I have to vote early to even be able to vote state so I guess I won't wait. Hopefully there is something to sign where I can vote all.

It definitely is a state website. I didn't show the whole picture with my voter ID.
I was going to tell them they didn't know what they were saying .... but didn't know how to phrase it well.
The site is legit.
They might be able to tell you what to bring to the voting spot, to be able to vote fully. Your TDL surely reflects your current residence as MoCo.
This is exactly what we have been worried about. My daughter had to vote provisionally too. She hher address--to a new county. She was first told she couldnt vote, then told she had to fill out some form. She voted and I sure hope it counts.

The SAVE act that did not pass would have created chaos for many
The State of Texas had 600K unprocessed voter registrations and changes of address about a month ago. A fine kettle of fish.
