How much or do you clean before your cleaning ladies come?

Lol, we used to kid each other about this! I just made sure that things were up and out-of-the-way. The floor was cleared and surfaces that we wanted them to clean so they didn't have to straighten up.., before they cleaned up. The ladies who cleaned our house used to say they would sometimes spend their first 45 minutes just trying to get to the floor before they could vacuum it and I didn't want us to be that way; seemed like a waste of my money, and their time

I vacuum all the floors for cat hair. Been a little lazy on mopping on drops on the floor. I'll get those in the morning. I'm old but I don't want them to think I'm a slob. Plus they don't do that great a job mopping with that spinner mop contraption. Swish swish Doesn't really get the floor like I want it. But I love the girls.

What kind of charity are yall running?

I make sure junk is not left out, beds are stripped and clean sheets are out. Our house is pretty clean, but I can't dust, vacuum or mop anymore. Cheaper to pay them than have surgery again.

My house stays company-ready most of the time so not a lot to do outside of the floors, dusting, and disinfecting the surfaces and bathrooms. I don't/wouldn't leave dirty dishes in the sink for them to clean, or leave laundry to be done outside of folding clean towels and sheets. Just my personal preferences. Everyone is different.

I just pick things up that I have left out so they can clean better. If I leave it to them to put up, I would never see it again.
Right now, I'm on my own. My cleaning ladies are a mother-daughter-friend team and the daughter was killed in a car wreck 3 weeks ago. I don't know when, or if, they'll be coming back. They have been cleaning my house for 10 years. It's heartbreaking.

Mine girls are great. The company was voted Best of the Best Cleaning Crew by ND the last 3 years.

There is no one that can clean my house better than I do. Even my grown sons learned the value of keeping a clean house.I still think about my cousin asking our grandmother if she would rather have friends or a clean house. She said a clean house. I am not that far gone.But one of my sisters has a cleaning lady and she always tidies things up before she gets there.

NeenaC0629 : I check the toilet seats. lol They are here to clean and sanitize. I lay out fresh sheets and they make the beds. I've never had them do laundry or fool with anything like that. They come tomorrow. I adore them!

LOL!!! My husband and I argue about that every time she's coming! "Why are.we.cleaning before the cleaning.lady.comes??!!" I really just want to declutter so she CAN clean!
I need a new cleaning.person though! Can I get.the names.and numbers of those.people yall love so much? PLEASE! My.lady has to.cancel.alot.lately.
