So, big cities like Houston, Dallas and Austin, and a few more, entered into a contract for 2.7 million dollars, to "fund the guide", so that they will consider our/those cities' restaurants ,More than others. So, it is not as random as it seems. I hope these pizza spots are good. Do you have a link about them?

They should try Firecraft for Bib Gourmand consderation.
There are 3 on the Bib Gourmand list with Kingwood connwctions. Let's make it 4!!

The Michelin star BBQ Corkscrew in Old Town Spring is many many many levels above Firecraft. There is no comparison. Everything on the menu is Michelin worthy.

Rapsalot : no not even homemade can beat Corkscrew. Agree but in this circumstance it is about the Michelin Star standards. We have been around the state even had Snows and one the days we have gone to Corkscrew it is beyond outstanding. I am not knocking Firecraft only been once. If we are going to eat BBQ it is going to be the best. We only have a couple times a year. It is not heart healthy.

You havent been to the eat brisket with the winner of the HLS&R BBQ Cook Off Champs. Puts Corkscrew to shame.( and I like the people that own CS; they do the customer appreciation lunches for 40 or more, that my son's company puts on, and do a nice job. )But, as Rapsalot said, bbq preferences are subjective...a lot like pizza favorites. We do not eat BBQ but maybe 2 times a year. We have been to the Texas monthly BBQ festival in Austin. I am a Native Texas and on my father's side, ancestor's were born in the Republic of Texas, plus we were born and raised in San Antonio so when know BBQ. I prefer BBQ Chicken or Turkey. But that does not make me less Texan just more concerned about cholesterol!

I apologize if my spelling or grammar is off. I have massive eye issues. And I am having a flare up of my autoimmune eye disorder, Uveitis and Scleritis. It is very painful but I will stop posting not to offend anyone.
