Is it safe to plant flower seeds in big pots yet?

My husband and sons put in 3 raised garden beds with over 8000 pounds of soil. Planting starts this afternoon with tomatoes and cucumbers. We may also plant squash and some herbs. Hubbie wants bell peppers too.

My Veggie Garden report is......Just harvested another round of Mustard Greens.....I keep saying that's probably my last harvest as it's getting too hot, but they keep producing enough for another.....As for the Peppers(Jalapeno and Bell), my "veteran plants"(those that survived the winter) started flowering a couple of weeks ago like crazy....I "hand pollinated" as many of the flowers as I could due to lack of bees and such.....And now they are all full of small "fruit" growing....Never seen them so "potentially productive".....And I say "potentially" because I'll need to see that fruit reach a decent size before I'll call it a "win"....As for my Okra, Cucumber, and Zucchini....Starting from seeds has been a challenge so far this year.....Had some growing well until friggin' squirrels decided to dig them up in their outdoor containers!....And it looks like the Cucumber seeds I ordered are "duds"....Won't even sprout using paper towels and water....Bought another brand of Cucumber seeds to start....Started some more Okra seeds.....We'll see what happens.....

I'm using fabric containers this year. The raised beds are depleted from previous owners lack of care and rotations.The potatoes (russets) have exploded and look like a rainforest. Peppers (bell, banana, jalapeño, and ghost) are planted and blooming. Pulled the strawberries out of the greenhouse - getting a handful every week. Onions are coming up well. I started saving the root ends (when cooking) in water and then moving them to soil - may never have to buy store onions again! We trim the tops and use those. They grow back almost overnight.Put out zucchini, yellow squash, radishes, and cucumbers this morning. Carrots from last season are flowering and I'm waiting for them to ripen in order to harvest the seeds for fall. Herbs - sage, rosemary, thyme, basil, and chives are really slow but growing. I started a dozen lemon balm plants from seed and moved them to larger containers - will transplant them to the birding garden soon.

Not our first garden, but it is the first year with the raised beds. We shall see. We made a big batch of homemade spaghetti sauce last year. Looking forward to salsa, bacon and tomato sandwiches, and just eating tomato slices.

I use sliced tomatoes from Costco, the campari tomatoes do very well with this. I have my third plantings doing this. I already have my first flowers starting.
