@Annie :

They have the parking lot blocked off at James Avery idk why but it's weird. I drive a big truck because I have a little wiener so it's tough for big truck parking. Not the end of the world but the place is good so didn't want it to affect the score

That parking lot that is blocked off because it is owned by a 3rd party that doesn't want anyone on it.

@Terminator :
When our beloved HEB left our center in 2017 they sold the property to our new property owners of the now Sprouts center, minus the north west corner parking area of WLHP and Kingwood Drive. That property, for those of you who have been around for a while, used to be an Exxon station, H-E-B bought the entire property but acquisition for that corner was executed separately…… and HEB has chose to retain ownership of that barricaded area. That corner of the parking lot was open and available for driving through parking, etc., until Sprouts announced its new store in our center, the center where H-E-B used to be. Once that announcement was made they promptly blocked that area off for access by the public under the guise of possible "insurance risk" on their property. This is but one of the most openly "anti community" decisions that HEB has made as of late.

@Terminator : that parking lot is being blocked by HEB because they want Sprouts to fail.

@GiggleMugs @FreebyrdII :
There's actually an ongoing lawsuit between HEB and SDI. Apparently HEB put that piece up for bid in 2024 and SDI put in a bid but it was less than half of the winning bid. HEB notified SDI another bid won in February 2025, and FIVE DAYS later, SDI blocked off the property with bollards. Apparently this is in violation of a long established easement. An appeals case is set for trial later this year. HEB wants it moved up so the sale can go through.
