Sorry your trip is dampened! Not sure if that'll affect the kids break though since they are usually determined to party no matter what. How are the crowds?

Zakangel : Prom is probably a month away. I noticed gowns in all the stores at the Mall.

I will enjoy the lighter local traffic with school out. I try to avoid all places that kids and teens might want to be, so that's usually not a problem.

My DS will come in from college on Friday and stay for the weekend. He'll go back to spend week of Spring break at school. Can't wait to see him! ❤️

bigla : Even better!! That will make two weeks of lighter traffic. When the teachers and staff stay home for HISD and other local districts, traffic, even in our area, is lighter. My new 15-20 min commute is even shorter!

Galveston is experiencing flooding right now. I have been seeimages of the high water around the town.

Homes or just streets? The streets always flood as you get closer to the harbor. It is designed that way. That's why they have 2 feet curbs. Down by the university, we used to always have to leave class to move our cars when it rained.

Who is on spring break this week? I know Humble and New Caney are not.
