Oh no. The hard rain sounds like the heaviest rain we have gotten in 2026. Possibly up to five inches? I would stay away from Northpark and Kingwood Drive tonight.

Wondering how much rain we have gotten so far? No, not suggesting y'all go outside and check the rain gauge! LOL~!
I ran outside anyway and checked my brand new fancy rain gauge. It said one and 1/2 inches so far. My guess it closer to two inches of rain in heavier spots. I did get soaking wet.

630PM The line continues to build over us and to the west. This is preventing the line from moving past us. So far, we've had a lot of breaks. My street is pretty clear and we flood easily.

Trapped in mall parking lot. Got back to car semi drenched. On drive down to mall from kingwood. Saw several vicious bolts of lightning! Worse lightning I've seen in a while. As I'm still driving south to mall here comes a plane landing. It seemed to make it. Went in and did shopping. Just made it in store before horrible rain flood! Back in car now stuck. Hearing some bits of hail too. Very heavy rain! Several cars seem to be doing same. They just sitting here and waiting for rain to soften. Saw on radar it may be an hour. Knew it was to rain but not this bad I think some people just gave up and slowly walking back to their cars. 🏊🏊🏊🤿🤿🤿

I love your set up! We got the weather station about a year. I was tired of running outdoors with an umbrella to check the rain guage. Lol We are now at 2.03 inches.
