Sprouts Grand Opening Date Announced www.chron.com/food/a rticle/sprouts-farme rs-market-kingwood-2 1360442.php Another Sprouts Farmers Market is coming to Houston's suburbs soon. The organic grocery giant's newest store will open in Kingwood at 4303 Kingwood Dr. on April 17. Sprouts' will kick off its debut in the Kings Crossing Shopping Center with a ribbon cutting event, freebies and pop-up parties all weekend long. Sprouts' new Kingwood store, about 27 miles outside of Houston, sits in what used to be an old H-E-B. Just like the Arizona-based chain's other locations, it'll be designed with a "farmers market experience" of fresh produce and other organic, plant-based, gluten-free, dairy-free and keto foods. After shuttering three locations in the Greater Houston area three years ago, Sprouts has been making a comeback with multiple new stores around the city's suburbs, Chron previously reported. Nationwide, the supermarket chain has more than 470 locations across 25 states. According to the company website, Texas is home to 61 stores with even more on the way. Sprouts opened its Richmond store last fall, and previously filed renovation permits with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to open in the former Randalls in The Woodlands. According to the permits, construction is set to begin in July and finish by 2027. Ahead of the new Kingwood store opening, Sprouts is hosting in-person hiring events to bring on dozens of new employees, including cashiers, clerks and department managers. Folks interested in applying can find more information on the company's website. Kingwood has seen a lot of major developments in the past year, including the arrival of a Trader Joe's at the Kingwood Commons. A Paris Baguette bakery and cafe location will also open in the same shopping complex sometime this year (or maybe next).

It's nice to see that KW will have additional places to spend our money.

I'm looking forward to checking them out. I really hope they have the purple Japanese Stokes sweet potatoes. The ones that are actually purple if you scratch the skin and not white underneath the purple skin.

Paris Baguette is not opening in the Sprouts center. IT WILL OPEN IN TRADER JOE'S CENTER AT THE FRONT OF KINGWOOD
Don't forget that Sprouts sells Kratom products. It is highly addictive, if you don't know about Kratom, I'd read up on it.

Anyone else excited? I am. Loving that we are gettng options for Kingwood in terms of grocery shopping. I personally felt that Randalls was waaay overpriced as was the old Alberstons.

Weathergirl5 : What I'm not looking forward to is the additional traffic in the Town Center area. The WLH crossovers from the old HEB to the new HEB will be a mess until the newness of Sprouts wears off. Traffic patterns were not well thought out when they laidout the new HEB center. I wish they could put a through driveway from behind Walgreens all the way through to Rustic Woods.
