While Crenshaw has brought hundreds of millions of dollars to the Lake Houston Area for flood mitigation, Steve Toth has consistently voted against the interests of his constituents. See his 2025 voting record and a disturbing conversation with him about honesty.

BobRehak :
Crenshaw will get my vote. Anyone who has a good track record of backing the efforts to prevent flooding in KW will always get my vote.

Crenshaw has been such a disappointment. Complete RINO swap rat now. Ask him a single tough question and he F'ing yells at you. He's marginally better than a Democrat to be clear, but not much better. We can certainly do better.

Bsander : your answer is theoretically possible, but appears unsupported with facts.

Bsander : Agree. Would love to see someone primary him. Also disappointed in how he handles his relationships with former Team guys. Specifically, how he has handled the situations with Eddie Gallagher and Shawn Ryan. However I guess without a war to go and fight right now and an absence of an enemy, Team guys just go after each other.

Toth excuse received tonight…. Just wondering what your response is to this, as I was looking for an alternative to Crenshaw, but I respect your opinion if you say he's doing good things…..

"Let me set the record straight.

Two days after Hurricane Harvey, I was in Kingwood helping one of my best friends muck out his business. He lost everything.

The negligence of the San Jacinto River Authority is inexcusable. That's why I led the charge to remove the head of the organization and voted for legislation focused on flood mitigation in Kingwood and the surrounding areas.

I didn't vote for virtue-signaling bills that came with no funding or real accountability. I fought for real change.

And now, I'm ready to take that same fighting spirit to Congress.

-Steve Toth"

Is it his voting record on national issues or his fight for federal funding for local projects that you disagree with?

How is Crenshaw a RINO? He votes in line with Republicans like 90% of the time or more.

I Honor Dan Crenshaw's service and sacrifice for our country. I have always voted for him. I don't know about the criticism of him. But instead of just casting my vote for him. I am going to do more research as I do for other candidates. Our votes count.

I am by no means a Republican and I disagree with Crenshaw on 99.99% of issues, BUT between him and Toth, I would pick him. He is, unfortunately (ugh), very intelligent, has the experience and has helped with flooding, which all sides should care about. I trust him more than Toth to get stuff done on behalf of his constituents. Though the stuff I prefer him to focus on is flooding as the rest of the issues I 100% disagree with him on.
