Agreed. Too fast, too distracted and not enough patience or common sense.

southernmama5 : so many accidents in that area. A side effect of population explosion.

Not paying attention or the usual running of the red light/s. I see it all the time at that intersection. Granted you can make a right turn on red, but your supposed to stop first and then turn if it's clear. More often than not I see people go right through a red light when making a right turn.

We were there yesterday driving down to Kings Point and it was crazy, no one was going the speed limit down Kingwood Drive. Horrible if ever someone decides to pull out from WHD turning right on Kingwood Drive and thinking they are safe. Hubs said he was not going to chance it the way people were speeding in that direction and would wait for the light to change albeit some run the red lights there. Very dangerous intersection.

Our son is learning to drive and I've told him to just wait for a solid green light, and not to turn right on to Kingwood drive. It's way to dangerous

Kittle : It was cleared when I ran past there an hour or so ago. Police were just leaving the scene, and the cars don't look too bad in the OP's picture.

Lulu45 : I know we like to blame speeding, but people have always sped on Kingwood drive, at least since the mid 1980's. What's different today, and did not exist back in the day, is smart phones, which people are on, all the time, including while driving. Distractions are what has changed, not the pace of driving.

I don't think that'll buff out.

never go on green until you see no one is running the red....
