3 coyotes in TW right now

Oh crud! Thats scary. I'm not going out this morning to walk but it's good to know if they are around. Eric make me take pepper spray. Surely if I felt threatened that would do the job.

I had a Metrolift pick me up and he saw the 3 come from the ditch side of Hidden Creek to the just east of TWD. He spotted them and when we turned around to go out, there was one of them just looking at us.Glad the dogs told me they wanted to stay in bed this morning and not go in the backyard. Cold weather is when they come out!!

SteveT : where was the roadrunner? JK The more development that goes on around here, the more wildlife we'll see. We are taking away their homes.

Gammyof2 : Also, the coyote population will remain strong. They are very adaptable to living in urban environments, especially with all the people who leave food out for cats, which also supports wildlife. I see them from time to time on early morning runs.

It is mating season for coyotes- they are more aggressive and brave. Heck I saw one on my walk last week at 3 pm. He was very nonchalant and in no hurry to move. I had to yell him- " Hey get on home" to convince him to trot off. They can jump high so fences are no deterrent. They are pretty though

For sure! We have a few neighborhood cats that make a daily visit by our cameras. Wonder if we will see them again soon!

That's crazy! Wow, you think you are safe with fences. Have to even keep an eye on the doggos outside in backyard.
