Went to Fig and Table yesterday around 9 a.m.
What Butler and I decided that we are not the right target for scones. They were made fine. But for us the texture just was not exactly what I would pick. I am sure anyone that likes scones would love these. Place was very clean and not very many people in there. But I am sure more people will start trying this place.

Thank you for your review and honest opinion. I haven't been there yet to try their coffee or scones, but hope to in the near future.
Northpark/woodland hills shopping center, next to subway and postal annex.
Scones are dry for our american taste, they are European originally 😀 usually served w cream or jam to soften them.
Also, y'all keep in mind, they have limited hours on the weekends. They close at 1pm on Saturday and are closed all day Sunday. I really hope they reconsider their weekend hours. This area is big on coffee and are all day, any time or most of the day coffee drinkers, and they really are missing out on those sales.

It sort of makes sense that they are closed on Sunday, because I thought in the beginning they advertised themselves as being a faith based, family owned company. It would be nice to see them open until 5 on Saturdays, though.

donnatella : WOW... I would think Saturday and Sunday would be the biggest days.

I love scones and I keep meaning to try them on the weekends.

cbear : Me too, but a good point was made about faith-based and closing Sunday. I'm not mad at that.
I agree with y'all, but what would be a nicer thing to do than gather at a place such as Fig & Table after services?

donnatella : Oh I do understand that too. I was coming from the angle of it being new and needing to "get on it's feet".
Thanks for the review. We have not been however Fig & Table is on our short list of new places to try.
Interesting point. Weekends are profitable for restaurants however I totally agree with their decision to close Sundays; it works for Chick-fil-A. Opening longer hours on Saturday would be better.
