Well it was a new first WTH for me. I went through the drive through to get lunch at El Rey tacos in Houston and he handed me a pen with the receipt to add the tip. Now, I don't have an easy spot to put the receipt down and write a legible tip amount while I'm hurrying up to get out out of line so the next person can get their food. C'mon man, that's just sad. I won't go back there just because of that. I was in line way to long and add time because of the tipping. Not gonna do it.

Texasota : I don't think people should be pressured to tip at the drive thru window. That seems like a high expectation for a minimal amount of service.

Texasota : it's everywhere. I can't imagine the response I'd get if I sent a bill to my customers with a "tip" line on it. I'd be blacklisted immediately.

I would prefer that employees would adjust prices to compensate and pay their workers a higher salary than ask me to tip. It is an antiquated practice that has gotten so far out of hand.
