BobRehak: Any reports on where all that fill came from? Beside violations, fines to the owners, what recourse is available just in case the site's abandoned? In other words, is the cost to return the site to its original condition more than the value of the property?
BobRehak : Thank you Bob! It sounds like it was another greedy developer. I'm happy that they are being fined on a daily basis until they return that area to it's original state.

bigcity : Would it matter if it kept your property from flooding? I would hope the developers would foot that bill, not the residents or COH.
eighteen: It absolutely does matter and, yes, totally agree the residents, COH shouldn't be on the hook but it looks like we're already dealing with both an irresponsible owner and developer. Before that fill was brought in I'm going to guess the vast majority of that property was unusable. Even with the fill it's questionable.
