Routine colonoscopy IN KINGWOOD? Anyone aware of a doctor who actualy does the procedure HERE? I found a KIngwood doctor who does it, but in Sugarland... even farther than the Med Center.

Routine colonoscopy IN KINGWOOD? Anyone aware of a doctor who actualy does the procedure HERE? I found a KIngwood doctor who does it, but in Sugarland... even farther than the Med Center.
jwardl : I had mine at the Kelsey Seybold clinic in Spring which is their closest location that performs these procedures.
Joe jwardl : For a number of years we saw Dr. George Nunez who did procedures in Humble. He is fantastic, unfortunately his staff is not. After days of attempting to get an appointment, leaving messages and not receiving a return call, visiting the office and being told the person who sets appointments was working a different location, DH saw Dr. Khanh Le at Texas Digestive Disease Consultants, 310 Kingwood Executive Dr., 281-764-9500. He has previously worked with both Dr. Nunez and Dr. Banker (retired). We were pleased with him. He does procedures in Kingwood.

Kittle : I had the same experience. A friend recommended him but his office was a terrible, I could not get a call back or any help at all. I gave up and found someone else.

jwardl : My impression is that he was deeply unprofessional, and had an unusually large number errors / problems during treatment...something I haven't experienced from other doctors I've dealt with in the past. I regret that I didn't complain to a higher authority at the time. I'll just leave it at that. These were my impressions / opinions only, maybe others had good experiences...but I wouldn't want a family member going to him.

olemiss1968 : LOL they were nice enough to show my pictures to my wife while I was in recovery. Nothing like having your 'roids shown in all their glory to your beloved.
jwardl : I've used Dr. Howard Hamat for years. Very good Dr and office.
They have a local office but they do the procedures at an office near Hwy 45 and FM1960 on Lantern Bend. Not a far hike.
jwardl : DH had a good experience with Dr. Nathan in Humble. The Endoscopy center he uses, also in Humble, behind the hospital, was very professional.
