Ladies: Hairdresser recommendations I'm looking for a new hairdresser/salon. ✂️💇♀️💈 I've gone to Sanke Hairdressers (in town center) for years but their prices have gone thru the roof! I called this week and was quoted $150+ for a wash, cut, blow dry & flat iron.......Yikes. 😬 I just can't. That used to be a $75 service there just 5 years ago. A friend of mine owns the salon on Woodland Hills (across from Kingwood Middle School) but she's booked right now. She just opened her salon last year and has become very busy! She's really good. ✂️ My hair can be a PITA. Its naturally curly, thick & frizzy. The last girl I went to (at a salon in Porter) totally screwed up my hair and hacked off 6 inches when I asked for 2" to be cut. It has taken me 2 years to get those 6 inches back. I need someone that: 1️⃣: Knows how to properly cut curly hair. 2️⃣: Knows how to blow dry/flat iron thick, frizzy, curly hair. Any recommendations? I'd really like to stay in the another website area. Thanks! 💚

StormChaser : I go to Anna at Cost Cutters in Kingwood Commons. Her prices are very reasonable, but most importantly she always does a great job. Their website lists all the services they offer if you want to check them out. Her English isn't the best so little chit chat but I'm always satisfied with the outcome.
StormChaser : Following. I love Sanke too and that is where I have gone the past several years. I see Patrick there and he is amazing. I did notice when I went in August for just a cut and style the price had almost doubled. I love the work he does, but it has gotten very expensive.

Weathergirl5 : Yes! I see Patrick as well. Or Lisa. Lisa is the owner - and she's THE BEST - but I just can't spend that kinda $ right before Christmas. Not on a haircut.

summersneeze to the salon and she has been using the owner, Georgia. Taylor, Georgia or Mia…I would highly recommend any of them.Now, the salons isn't some high class swanky place, but it's comfortable and the ladies are all real and it's budget friendly for great services.
