right now, it is due to the govt shut down, and I hope they remedy this, soon. People have to be paid, when they work! Not wanting this to go to FL, so let's stick to airport ops, y'all. Just posted in case anyone was headed to the airport for a later flight, today.

SpaceCat : Yes, they get paid for not doing their job while we don't get paid for doing ours. From what I have heard, rolling sick-outs at the airports played a part in getting the government back up and running the last shut down but don't quote me on that.

ZMAN : Jobs are being replaced faster to international locations than AI. There are talks about why even have US flight attendants when they could have international lower cost employees do the jobs, even contractors. Most people I know that got let go this year, and there are a lot, their jobs went to India (not because of AI). However, I think kiosks will come sooner with no one around at check-in past security at airports.
